Empress Plums

Happy Sunday! @thepaperfossils and I were just talking about the joy we get from finding fruit with their stems and leaves on. Anyone else? I think it’s time I plant a fruit tree in my backyard. These are Italian prune plums aka Empress plums and they are delicious! I made a plum tart with them, for which I will be sharing the recipe with you later this week. Couldn’t resist sharing these beauties as is though.
