I’ve heard the phrase “child-like faith” all my life and thought, if only I could have that. But I’m discovering it doesn’t mean bright eyed, readily trusting, not doubting, blind-faith like I had thought.

Something I struggle with daily is picking and choosing parts of the christianity, like ice cream toppings, which are easier for me to accept rather than what is true.

Some things in the Bible seem "harsh" and "non inclusive" to me. The thing about salvation is its a gift based on grace, not something I achieved because I was born into a Christian family, or good deeds I've done, or anything other than the mercy Christ showed me.
