Pray for Kerala

I’m so grateful for my heritage and culture which have shaped a lot of who I am and have heavily influenced the food I cook. But today my heart is heavy for the people of Kerala. Kerala is currently experiencing the worst floods it’s ever seen. Thousands are stranded waiting to be rescued. People all across the state, including my extended family, are praying for the rain to stop and for flood waters to subside. I didn’t get a chance to post anything yesterday for India’s Independence Day, but I hope this makes you aware of the dire situation there.
