Sambharam

Starting my #OnamRecipes with this sambharam/morum vellum/pacha moru or whatever else you may call it. It’s SO good on a hot day or just a regular Thursday 🙃. It’s one of the last things consumed in an #OnamSadhya.

*Recipe* - 2 cups, thick yogurt - 1.5 cup of cold water - 1 shallot, minced - 1/2 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped - 2 green chilies, finely chopped - Salt to taste

1. Add the cold water and yogurt in a bowl and whisk well until frothy. 2. Add the minced shallots, ginger, green chilies and salt. Whisk again. 3. Chill in the refrigerator for an hour or so. 4. Serve cold.
