Happy Halloween and national caramel apple day!
What side are you on? Car-Mel or CareA-Mel? Either way…bone ☠️ appétit!
*Recipe*
- 4 granny smith apples
- 2 bags (4.51 oz) of soft caramels
- 3 T heavy cream
- Toppings of your choice (peanuts, chocolate, sprinkles)
1. Wash the apples and make sure they are completely dry. Press popsicle sticks into the center of each apple
2. Unwrap the caramel soft chews. In a saucepan, melt the caramels over medium heat until melted. Then add the heavy cream and mix well. Turn down the heat to low.
3. Dip each apple into the caramel sauce until completely covered. Tap off an excess and add any toppings you like and place them on a lined cookie tray. Cool them in the fridge for 15 mins and then serve!
