I always thought making your own pastry dough was a daunting task until I attempted it. Making it yourself is actually quite simple and rewarding. The specks of cold butter you see after you combine all the ingredients help to make your crust nice and flaky. Give it a shot this fall and you won’t be disappointed! Italian prune plum tart
*Ingredients* • Pastry Dough - 2 c flour - 2 sticks of cold unsalted butter - 1/2 t salt - 1/4 c water • Filling - 1 pound of Italian prune plums - 1 t lemon juice - 1/4 - 1/2 c sugar (based on how tart your plums are so taste your fruit)
